Really like the idea behind this tape.
Really like the idea behind this tape. The quality is excellent and it is easy to install. I picked a gray color to match my paddle edge and like it. However the price is fairly steep for edge guard compared to the tape ones -- have to see how well it holds up in use. Also, the tape adds almost an ounce to the weight of your paddle, note the weight difference in the pictures below compared to an edge tape. It is distributed around the face so should widen the sweet spot some, but it may be too much if your paddle is already head heavy. It is very functional as a protective cover, my paddle is 14mm and I think it might be a better fit for a 16mm. I used it today and found it OK but the weight was noticeable. Minus one star for price and weight.

Good pickleball case for standard size paddles
The VITALUXE case is good for standard size pickleball paddles as it protects the full paddle including the handle. The inside lining is soft and padded. The exterior material is fake leather, so I am sure of its durability in the long run. The zipper works smoothly. I like the exterior stretchy mesh pocket, perfect for phone, keys, or balls. The adjustable carry strap is a convenient feature.

Protect the edge and expand your sweet spot
This is a nice set of two flexible stretch edge guards for pickleball paddles.They install in one piece and are held in place simply by the tension of the material. They provide a rubber like edge to protect your paddle from damage on the court. They also add weight to the paddle. I tried it on my newest paddle and I didn't like the weight balance change. I have used these on other paddles that made the paddle perform much more powerfully. They can also expand the sweet spot size, in a similar way that lead tape does. They are very durable, I had a hard hit on pavement and they protected the paddle and only had a black mark that wiped off easily. This is a good value for the set of two. IT functions as it should. The color is a light gray.
I am not an expert player by all means, but the paddle feels good in my hand, it's a good weight, I love the borderless face, it helps me not hit a wonky ball out of bounds!
